If you have always wanted to dance around the may pole your time has come. The Pagosa Waldorf Initiative invites you to Town Park on May 17th from 10:00 to 2:00 to celebrate the arrival of spring and warmth at our third annual May Faire celebration. The day is also a celebration of local sustainability with local farmers, artists, and craftsman sharing their skills, talents, and harvests. May Faire will be filled with entertainment from local musicians and thespians young and old. Children of all ages can engage in artistic activities like beeswax modeling, face-painting, dandelion crown-making, block-making, bubble wands, butterfly sticks, and much more.

Seeds of Learning is a non-profit preschool center that provides early childhood education for the children of Archuleta County. They will hold their annual fundraiser with the theme “A Tisket, A Tasket, A Seeds of Learning Basket” on Saturday, May 17th. Doors will open at 5:30 for appetizers and a sit down dinner in an elegant picnic atmosphere. Creative "baskets" of various values will be auctioned.  Reserved seating ($50/ticket) and table sponsorships ($600/table) will be available. The Builder's Association of Pagosa Springs will be holding its 9th Annual Home & Garden Show on Saturday, May 17th from 9 to 5 and Sunday, May 18th from 10-4. The event features local retailers and service businesses to answer your questions and present their products. Food will be available from Eddie B' Cookin' and Ramon's Mexican Restaurant.
