Tai Chi on Thursdays at Yamaguchi Park! Classes are free for older adults (age 55 and better) and will last approximately 1 hour in the dining hall. No special clothing or equipment is required for either class.
Tai Chi and mindfulness based meditation are not martial arts, but rather tools for self-healing. Softness, flow and effortlessness are the guiding principles in these practices. For Tai Chi, it will include 19 easy to learn movements and one pose designed to stimulate, circulate and balance the vital energy, or universal life force, referred to as ‘Qi’, which is inherent in all of us. Tai Chi is often thought of as a moving meditation because of the calming effect on the mind and emotions, and the release of tension throughout the body.
We are here to support you and the community on our collective healing journey. For more information contact rosa@psseniors.org or call 970-264-2167.

Would you like to bring more wisdom, serenity, love, and freedom into your life? HU is an ancient mantra, a sacred name for God. It has been used for thousands of years as a prayer and sacred chant to attune oneself to the presence of God. Millions of people around the world have experienced the joy of HU.
In many spiritual traditions, sound plays an important part in uplifting the individual. HU is a key to open your heart to God’s loving presence in your life.
Anyone can sing HU, regardless of age or religion. It is a simple technique that can be used as part of your daily spiritual practice. It has the power to uplift you spiritually for inner peace, healing, and insight.
It is a gift to you, and for anyone looking to experience more divine love in life. No prior experience is needed, just curiosity and an open heart.
Join the Spiritual Experiences Group of Pagosa Springs on Sunday, April 19th at 1:00 p.m for our event: Sing HU for Inner Peace and Wisdom—An Ancient Mantra for a Modern World
We will meet at the Pagosa Lakes Clubhouse, 230 Port Ave, in Pagosa Springs.
This free event is sponsored by Eᴄᴋᴀɴᴋᴀʀ, the Path of Spiritual Freedom. Eckankar teaches simple creative exercises that unlock deep inner reserves of truth you have attained over lifetimes. You will come to know there is so much more to life than what we see.

Free commemorative beer fill with your purchase of a 150/250 Commemorative pint glass! Beer style + name to be revealed soon…
Colorado Pint Day is an annual statewide celebration of craft beer culture, and we’re going big this year. On April 29th, Riff Raff Brewing Company will be joining breweries across the state to raise a glass — and we’ve got even more reason to celebrate. This year marks the 150th anniversary of Colorado statehood and the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America, and we think that calls for something special.
In honor of both milestones, we’ll be pre-releasing an exclusive commemorative beer blended specifically for the occasion — details on this soon-to-be-revealed brew are coming soon, and trust us, it’s worth the wait. We’ll also have a limited run of commemorative pint glasses available for purchase, and with every glass purchase you’ll receive a complimentary fill of our commemorative beer. It’s the perfect way to toast two and a half centuries of America, 150 years of the greatest state in the union, and the craft beer culture that makes Colorado what it is.
Come raise a glass with us on the river. Cheers to Colorado. Cheers to America. Cheers to the Riff Raff.
