Second Chance Comedy Presents: “We’re All Doing Great” And Other Lies – A Standup Comedy Show about Life’s Chaos is bringing a powerful lineup of comics tackling the messy, beautiful, and often hilarious realities of mental health, addiction, and being human.

• Headliner: Aj Finney – Stylistically manic and artistically brilliant, AJ Finney is an eclectic Midwestern storyteller with a passion for the psychedelic scene of the Sixties. His show has something for everyone. A relatable vicarious ride through his world involving topics like family, anxiety, and everyday mishaps.Crowned “Best of the Midwest” at Gilda’s Laugh Fest, featured on the FOX television show Laughs, and one of the 100 performers chosen for Season 8 of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. He was a semifinalist in the Comedy Central talent search Up Next and a finalist in HBO’s Lucky 21. His podcast “Hippie Not Hippie” has achieved over 1 million impressions in its first season, and his latest album, “Too Fast for Rain,” debuted at number one on Amazon and iTunes. AJ currently resides with his family in Denver, where he’s a paid regular at the world-famous Comedy Works.
• Featuring: Andy Mathews – Andy Mathews is a Durango-based comedian and the lead producer of Durango Comedy & Events. He is recognized for his high-energy stand-up and polished storytelling, earning the Judges Choice award at the 2025 Stand-Up For Local First competition. As a primary showrunner and host at venues like the Durango Arts Center, Mathews manages professional event production and curates diverse lineups featuring both national touring acts and regional talent.

Archuleta Seniors Inc. presents A Night of Elegance & Celebration with a Masquerade Ball at the Ross Aragon Community Center on Saturday, September 26th.

We encourage guests to arrive early, settle in, and enjoy the anticipation as the evening begins. Formal attire and masquerade costumes are encouraged. Prepare to make a statement, as you’ll have the opportunity to compete for one of three extraordinary Springs Resort packages in our special costume contest.

On Saturday, October 3rd from 1-5pm, dust off the lederhosen, grab the leash, and get ready for an afternoon of beer, brats, live music, dogs, and Oktoberfest fun, all while supporting an incredible local cause. Barktoberfest is back for 2026 at Uncle’s Bar & Social Club, bringing a little Bavarian flavor to Pagosa Springs while raising money for Rugby’s Rescue House and the dogs who need them.

Here’s what’s waiting for you:

  They’ll be keeping the Oktoberfest spirit rolling all afternoon.

Saturday, October 3 at Pagosa Springs Center for the Arts, join Rise Above Violence for their annual Runway for Rise Recycled Fashion Gala. October 3rd from 6-9pm. doors open at 6 PM.

This FUN-raising event is sure to wow you with some frugal but fabulous outfits as teams compete to raise funds and create an amazing runway ensemble out of soda can tabs, wine corks, an element from nature, or other recycled and repurposed thrifted items. Support your favorite teams by voting for them online or the night of.

Runway for RiSE: A Recycled Fashion Gala. Come cheer on the teams for a fun night celebrating our community while supporting Rise Above Violence.

Step into the unknown with School of Movement as we take you on a seductive, spectacular journey through the farthest reaches of science fiction.

Your first stop? An eerie alien nest inspired by Alien—where something otherworldly is lurking just beyond the darkness. From there, the boundaries of reality begin to disappear as we launch into a series of wildly imaginative sci-fi dimensions brought to life through dance, aerial arts, music, lights, and burlesque.

Witness incredible aerial performances. Get up close and personal with our fearless burlesque dancers. Encounter strange creatures, seductive beings, futuristic worlds, and dimensions where absolutely anything can happen.
