Tai Chi on Thursdays at Yamaguchi Park! Classes are free for older adults (age 55 and better) and will last approximately 1 hour in the dining hall. No special clothing or equipment is required for either class.

Tai Chi and mindfulness based meditation are not martial arts, but rather tools for self-healing. Softness, flow and effortlessness are the guiding principles in these practices. For Tai Chi, it will include 19 easy to learn movements and one pose designed to stimulate, circulate and balance the vital energy, or universal life force, referred to as ‘Qi’, which is inherent in all of us. Tai Chi is often thought of as a moving meditation because of the calming effect on the mind and emotions, and the release of tension throughout the body.

Calling all 4th–8th graders who love storytelling, creativity, and epic quests! Our Dungeons & Dragons Club is the perfect place for students to work together, use their imaginations, and solve problems — all while having fun. No experience is needed; we’ll teach the basics and guide everyone through exciting adventures.

Communication & Paperwork: All parents will be required to download the Brightwheel app to complete forms and receive communication. Paperwork must be completed before your students first day of participation.

Who: 4th-8th Grade Students

When: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM- Starting October 14th and running through May 21st, 2026.

Where: The Studios by PCI, 550 B Hot Springs Blvd, Pagosa Springs CO 8114

Transportation & Pick-Up: – If attending the public Middle School, PCI will transport your students from the Middle school to the Studios. – If attending another school/program, please drop your student off at 4pm, to the Studios, 550 B Hot Springs Blvd.- Parents must pick up their child no later than 5:00pm from the Studios (location above), unless they are approved to walk home on their own. If you would like to sign a permission slip for walking home, please reach out to youth@pagosacommunityinitiative.org with your students name and the request. We will send it through Brightwheel with the other paperwork.

The PCI Pirate Running Club has been having a blast getting some fresh air and burning off some energy after school!

We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays to run, laugh, and have fun with friends — the perfect way to end the school day. We even have snacks afterwards too!

Open to all PSES students and is free to join!

Join the Kindness Club!
Are you ready to spread kindness and make a difference? In this club, we go on a quest to bring more smiles to our school and community through fun projects, service activities, and teamwork. Come be a kindness hero — every act of good makes our world a little brighter!

Who: 5th- 8th grade students

When: Fridays- 1:45/2pm to 4pm- Starting February 6th and running through May 22nd, 2026.

Where: Meet @ Pagosa Springs Middle school, bus to locations around town for acts of kindness, primarily to start with The Beehive Retirement home and another location on alternating Fridays. Locations will increase/alternate with notice ahead!

Pick-Up: Parents must pick up their child at 4:00 PM at the location of the day. We will provide a tentative schedule to help with this.

Saturdays belong to Ping Pong & PBR at Uncle’s! Roll in for the $2 PBR, stay because you suddenly discovered you’re a paddle prodigy. Friendly competition is totally encouraged, trash-talk optional but appreciated.

Fuel your reflexes with our tasty melts and bar bites. A strong paddle hand requires proper… nutrition.

Come pong, sip, snack, repeat.

Join us for a beautiful evening of farm-to-table dining as we celebrate Easter, and our last Sunday of mud season.

We’ll be featuring half-priced bottles of wine (while they last) to pair with the best of what our local farms have to offer. It’s the perfect excuse to gather, slow down, and savor the season with us.

Film Club is for high school students who want to tell stories through film. Work as a team to plan, shoot, and edit a short movie while learning real-world filmmaking skills—on camera and behind the scenes.

When: Starting February 3rd and running through April 28th, 2026.

Where: Pagosa Springs Highschool Art Room- Mrs. Lewis’ art classroom

Get ready for an evening of exceptional flavor and community spirit at our annual Lamb & Beer Pairing Dinner. This year, we are proud to showcase premium lamb purchased directly from the 2025 4H County Fair, celebrating the hard work of our local youth. Guests will enjoy a meticulously crafted five-course meal, with each dish expertly paired with one of our five signature Riff Raff brews. While the specific culinary theme is still under wraps, the mission is clear: a portion of all proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Archuleta County 4H program to support the next generation of local agricultural leaders.

The Archuleta Community Food Hub & Hall is a shared community space designed to strengthen local food access, support local producers and entrepreneurs, and create gathering places where food, learning, and connection come together. Built by the community, for the community, the Food Hub will serve families, farmers, small businesses, youth, and visitors, keeping food dollars local and building resilience in our rural mountain county.
