Film Club is for high school students who want to tell stories through film. Work as a team to plan, shoot, and edit a short movie while learning real-world filmmaking skills—on camera and behind the scenes.

Communication & Paperwork: All parents will be required to download the Brightwheel app to complete forms and receive communication. Paperwork must be completed before your students first day of participation.

Who: 9th- 12th grade students

When: Starting February 3rd and running through April 28th, 2026.

Where: Pagosa Springs Highschool Art Room- Mrs. Lewis’ art classroom

Calling all 4th–8th graders who love storytelling, creativity, and epic quests! Our Dungeons & Dragons Club is the perfect place for students to work together, use their imaginations, and solve problems — all while having fun. No experience is needed; we’ll teach the basics and guide everyone through exciting adventures.

Who: 4th-8th Grade Students

When: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM- Starting October 14th and running through May 21st, 2026.

Where: The Studios by PCI, 550 B Hot Springs Blvd, Pagosa Springs CO 8114

Transportation & Pick-Up: – If attending the public Middle School, PCI will transport your students from the Middle school to the Studios. – If attending another school/program, please drop your student off at 4pm, to the Studios, 550 B Hot Springs Blvd.- Parents must pick up their child no later than 5:00pm from the Studios (location above), unless they are approved to walk home on their own. If you would like to sign a permission slip for walking home, please reach out to youth@pagosacommunityinitiative.org with your students name and the request. We will send it through Brightwheel with the other paperwork.

Welcome to Clay Club!
Join us for hands-on creativity and fun at Clay Club! Our after-school sessions give students the chance to explore clay, learn new techniques, and make their own amazing creations. 

Sessions run 3:45PM–5:00 PM, pick up is 5:15-5:30pm, and all materials are included. Let’s get messy, creative, and make something unforgettable!

Where: The Studios by PCI, 550 B Hot Springs Blvd, Pagosa Springs, Co 81147

Transportation & Pick-Up: – If attending the public Middle School, PCI will transport your students from the Middle school to the Studios. – If attending another school/program, please drop your student off at 4pm, to the Studios, 550 B Hot Springs Blvd.- Parents would ideally pick up their child between 5:15pm and 5:30pm unless communicated for an earlier time to properly plan for project completion and clean up of space, unless they are approved to walk home on their own. Please expect to wait up to 10 minutes for your student to clean up. If they fail to clean up their space, they may risk not being able to participate in next session.If you would like to sign a permission slip for walking home, please reach out to youth@pagosacommunityinitiative.org with your students name and the request. We will send it through Brightwheel with the other paperwork.

The PCI Pirate Running Club has been having a blast getting some fresh air and burning off some energy after school!

We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays to run, laugh, and have fun with friends — the perfect way to end the school day. We even have snacks afterwards too!

Open to all PSES students and is free to join!

It is perfect for those just wanting to enjoy a fun, healthy social interaction and for those looking for a fast-paced competitive challenge. For those new to pickleball, the PPC offers free beginner clinics and loaner paddles to help provide a great introduction to the sport.

Calling all Trainers in grades 5–8! Whether you’re a seasoned battler, a card collector, or just love talking all things Pokémon, this club is for you. Trade, play, learn new strategies, and connect with fellow fans in a fun, friendly environment. Catch you there!

Transportation & Pick-Up: – If attending the public Middle School, your student will meet PCI staff outside by the ramp at the 7th/8th grade building. They will be checked in and go to Miss Hemenger’s room for a snack and game play!- If attending another school/program, please drop your student off at 3:30pm to the 7th/8th grade building of the Pagosa Springs Middle School. They will be checked in and go to Miss Hemenger’s room for a snack and game play!- Parents must pick up their child no later than 5:30pm from the middle school, unless they are approved to walk home on their own. When arriving at the middle school, please just park and message the PCI staff through Brightwheel that you are there for your student. UJAM Fitness is a dance party disguised as a workout. Easy-to-follow moves, killer music, and nonstop good energy make this class perfect for all levels. If you can move, you can UJAM. Expect cardio, strength, and lots of laughs.

More than just a workout, U-Jam is a space to release stress, boost your mood, and reconnect with yourself through movement. Our classes encourage self-expression, confidence, and joy—no pressure, no perfection required.

Quiz for a Cause at Uncle’s Social, a fun-filled weekly trivia night where your knowledge can make a difference. Starts at 6:30pm. $10 per team.

Each month we support a different local non-profit, with all proceeds going directly to their important work. Gather your friends, test your trivia skills, and help us give back to the community while having great time! Don’t miss out on the chance to learn, laugh, and contribute to a worthy cause!  Teams can range from 1 person to 6 max.  The first question is asked at 6:30pm sharp so arrive early to get settled.   Come Hungry!

Are you ready to spread kindness and make a difference? In this club, we go on a quest to bring more smiles to our school and community through fun projects, service activities, and teamwork. Come be a kindness hero — every act of good makes our world a little brighter!

Who: 5th- 8th grade students

When: Fridays- 1:45/2pm to 4pm- Starting February 6th and running through May 22nd, 2026.

Where: Meet @ Pagosa Springs Middle school, bus to locations around town for acts of kindness, primarily to start with The Beehive Retirement home and another location on alternating Fridays. Locations will increase/alternate with notice ahead!

Pick-Up: Parents must pick up their child at 4:00 PM at the location of the day. We will provide a tentative schedule to help with this.

A Dance class for kids! Come learn moves to your favorites songs. Hosted by Ms. Jamie. A celebration of rhythm, movement, and joy.

This contemporary workshop with Nikki invites dancers to explore fluidity, strength, and emotional expression through guided movement and phrase work. Rooted in technique but led by feeling, the class blends floor work, dynamic transitions, and expressive choreography that encourages dancers to listen to their bodies and move authentically. Expect a supportive, empowering environment where curiosity is welcome, artistry is honored, and every dancer—no matter where they’re coming from—leaves feeling more connected, expanded, and alive.

Little movers explore how their bodies can jump, wiggle, stretch, spin, and glide through playful props and music. 

Each session blends simple structure with lots of freedom, building coordination, balance, rhythm, and spatial awareness.

Children practice important early skills like listening, taking turns, following directions, and expressing big feelings through movement, all in a warm, supportive environment where curiosity is celebrated and perfection is never the goal.

Perfect for preschoolers ready to move independently, Creative Movement nurtures confidence, imagination, and a lifelong love of dance—one playful step at a time.

Step onto the stage and bring stories to life! This class introduces young performers to the world of musical theatre through acting, movement, and creative expression. Students will explore character development, storytelling, and stage presence while building confidence and teamwork—all in a fun, supportive environment. No singing experience required!

A fun and imaginative introduction to dance! This class encourages young movers to explore their bodies, express themselves, and develop basic ballet skills in a playful, supportive environment. Through creative games, imaginative exercises, and age-appropriate dance steps, students build coordination, balance, rhythm, and confidence.

Saturdays belong to Ping Pong & PBR at Uncle’s! Roll in for the $2 PBR, stay because you suddenly discovered you’re a paddle prodigy. Friendly competition is totally encouraged, trash-talk optional but appreciated.

Fuel your reflexes with our tasty melts and bar bites. A strong paddle hand requires proper… nutrition.
