It is perfect for those just wanting to enjoy a fun, healthy social interaction and for those looking for a fast-paced competitive challenge. For those new to pickleball, the PPC offers free beginner clinics and loaner paddles to help provide a great introduction to the sport.

The Pagosa Pickleball Club invites you to join in the fun and participate in one of the most popular sports in the world as a club member, a visitor, a sponsor, or a friend.

Mommy & Me at Uptown Dance Collective is a joyful first movement class for children from newborns to toddlers and their grown-up. 

Through music, songs, props, and playful dance games, little ones build coordination, rhythm, and body awareness—while staying close to a trusted adult.

Caregivers move right alongside their child as we wiggle, stomp, twirl, and freeze, creating a safe, welcoming first classroom experience. There’s no pressure to perform—just connection, confidence, and fun.

Perfect for toddlers not quite ready to dance solo, Mommy & Me celebrates every stage: shy, curious, wiggly, or wild. Come as you are and enjoy a sweet weekly ritual of movement and togetherness.

Give your child the extra boost they deserve! The Pagosa Community Initiative offers a fun and supportive tutoring program that helps students grow in reading and math while building confidence, comprehension, and a love for learning.

Film Club is for high school students who want to tell stories through film. Work as a team to plan, shoot, and edit a short movie while learning real-world filmmaking skills—on camera and behind the scenes.

Who: 9th- 12th grade students

When: Starting February 3rd and running through April 28th, 2026.

Where: Pagosa Springs Highschool Art Room- Mrs. Lewis’ art classroom

Calling all 4th–8th graders who love storytelling, creativity, and epic quests! Our Dungeons & Dragons Club is the perfect place for students to work together, use their imaginations, and solve problems — all while having fun. No experience is needed; we’ll teach the basics and guide everyone through exciting adventures.

Who: 4th-8th Grade Students

When: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM- Starting October 14th and running through May 21st, 2026.

Where: The Studios by PCI, 550 B Hot Springs Blvd, Pagosa Springs CO 8114

Transportation & Pick-Up: – If attending the public Middle School, PCI will transport your students from the Middle school to the Studios. – If attending another school/program, please drop your student off at 4pm, to the Studios, 550 B Hot Springs Blvd.- Parents must pick up their child no later than 5:00pm from the Studios (location above), unless they are approved to walk home on their own. If you would like to sign a permission slip for walking home, please reach out to youth@pagosacommunityinitiative.org with your students name and the request. We will send it through Brightwheel with the other paperwork.

Welcome to Clay Club!
Join us for hands-on creativity and fun at Clay Club! Our after-school sessions give students the chance to explore clay, learn new techniques, and make their own amazing creations. 

Sessions run 3:45PM–5:00 PM, pick up is 5:15-5:30pm, and all materials are included. Let’s get messy, creative, and make something unforgettable!

Who: 5th-8th Grade Students

Starting: February 10th and running through March 19th, 2026.

Where: The Studios by PCI, 550 B Hot Springs Blvd, Pagosa Springs, Co 81147

Transportation & Pick-Up: – If attending the public Middle School, PCI will transport your students from the Middle school to the Studios. – If attending another school/program, please drop your student off at 4pm, to the Studios, 550 B Hot Springs Blvd.- Parents would ideally pick up their child between 5:15pm and 5:30pm unless communicated for an earlier time to properly plan for project completion and clean up of space, unless they are approved to walk home on their own. Please expect to wait up to 10 minutes for your student to clean up. If they fail to clean up their space, they may risk not being able to participate in next session.If you would like to sign a permission slip for walking home, please reach out to youth@pagosacommunityinitiative.org with your students name and the request. We will send it through Brightwheel with the other paperwork.

UJAM Fitness is a dance party disguised as a workout. Easy-to-follow moves, killer music, and nonstop good energy make this class perfect for all levels. If you can move, you can UJAM. Expect cardio, strength, and lots of laughs.

More than just a workout, U-Jam is a space to release stress, boost your mood, and reconnect with yourself through movement. Our classes encourage self-expression, confidence, and joy—no pressure, no perfection required.

The PCI Pirate Running Club has been having a blast getting some fresh air and burning off some energy after school!

We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays to run, laugh, and have fun with friends — the perfect way to end the school day. We even have snacks afterwards too!

Open to all PSES students and is free to join!

Join the PCI Pokémon Club!
Calling all Trainers in grades 5–8! Whether you’re a seasoned battler, a card collector, or just love talking all things Pokémon, this club is for you. Trade, play, learn new strategies, and connect with fellow fans in a fun, friendly environment. Catch you there!

Transportation & Pick-Up: – If attending the public Middle School, your student will meet PCI staff outside by the ramp at the 7th/8th grade building. They will be checked in and go to Miss Hemenger’s room for a snack and game play!- If attending another school/program, please drop your student off at 3:30pm to the 7th/8th grade building of the Pagosa Springs Middle School. They will be checked in and go to Miss Hemenger’s room for a snack and game play!- Parents must pick up their child no later than 5:30pm from the middle school, unless they are approved to walk home on their own. When arriving at the middle school, please just park and message the PCI staff through Brightwheel that you are there for your student. We will have them clean up and head out. If you would like to sign a permission slip for walking home, please reach out to youth@pagosacommunityinitiative.org with your students name and the request. Quiz for a Cause at Uncle’s Social, a fun-filled weekly trivia night where your knowledge can make a difference. Starts at 6:30pm. $10 per team.

Each month we support a different local non-profit, with all proceeds going directly to their important work. Gather your friends, test your trivia skills, and help us give back to the community while having great time! Don’t miss out on the chance to learn, laugh, and contribute to a worthy cause!  Teams can range from 1 person to 6 max.  The first question is asked at 6:30pm sharp so arrive early to get settled.   Come Hungry!

Join the Kindness Club!
Are you ready to spread kindness and make a difference? In this club, we go on a quest to bring more smiles to our school and community through fun projects, service activities, and teamwork. Come be a kindness hero — every act of good makes our world a little brighter!

Who: 5th- 8th grade students

When: Fridays- 1:45/2pm to 4pm- Starting February 6th and running through May 22nd, 2026.

Where: Meet @ Pagosa Springs Middle school, bus to locations around town for acts of kindness, primarily to start with The Beehive Retirement home and another location on alternating Fridays. Locations will increase/alternate with notice ahead!

Pick-Up: Parents must pick up their child at 4:00 PM at the location of the day. We will provide a tentative schedule to help with this.

Pop Dance Party Series with Ms. Jamie

This high-energy kids dance class is all about the moves they love right now. Drawing inspiration from popular kids dance videos and trending choreography, dancers will learn fun, age-appropriate routines set to clean, upbeat music everyone recognizes.

Classes focus on confidence, coordination, rhythm, and teamwork—without pressure or competition. Dancers get to explore big movement, expressive style, and performance skills in a positive, supportive environment where everyone belongs. Expect lots of smiles, movement games, and that “I can do this!” feeling each week.

Perfect for kids who love to move, copy cool dances, and be part of something fun—no prior dance experience needed.

Our Adult K-Pop Dance Workshop is your chance to step out of the audience and onto the stage. Think dramatic hair flips, synchronized power moves, and that “did we just debut?” energy. We’ll warm up like pros, break down a routine piece-by-piece, and then turn the lights down low so you can perform like you’re closing out the GRAMMY Awards.

 No experience? Perfect. We love a surprise breakout star.

You’ll sweat, you’ll slay, you’ll probably scream a little — and by the end, the urge to start a fan club may occur.

4:30 PM – 5:30 PM. $25.00/lesson
