Calling all craft brew enthusiasts! The 10th Annual Pints, Pools, and Paddles Craft Brew Festival is back and better than ever! Join us at The Springs Resort in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, for a milestone celebration of craft beer, geothermal soaking, and riverside fun.
This year, attendees will help determine the Favorite Brewery Award! Last year’s champion, La Cumbre Brewing Company of Albuquerque, New Mexico, delivered standout flavors to earn the top spot. We eagerly await confirmation of their return, along with 2023’s winner, Big Beaver Brewing Co. of Loveland, Colorado, who might join us to showcase their exceptional brews again.

There will be a social hour starting at 6 p.m., with activities from 7-8:30 p.m.
Visit https://sanjuanstargazers.org/ for more info.
All are welcome at our meetings! We meet at 6:00 for social hour and snacks. This is a great time to ask informal questions and have good conversation. THERE IS A PARKING LOT TO THE EAST OF THE CHURCH & WE USE THE DOOR OFF THE PARKING LOT INTO THE KITCHEN. THE MAIN DOORS OFTEN ARE LOCKED.
From 6:30-7:00, members are encouraged to break out into the following teams to gather ideas and foster participation and collaboration: Telescopes, Audio/Visual, Parking Attendants, Presenters, New Member Welcome, Fundraising, Education, Club Perks, Club Photographer, and Hospitality.
Our program starts at 7:00.
The educational & major part of our meetings may include a guest speaker. If there is no speaker, we currently use programs from The Great Courses; Experiencing Hubble: Understanding the Greatest Images of the Universe and Our Night Sky: Learning How to Become an Expert Stargazer.
There is a written lesson & video program. Anyone from a beginner to an advanced astronomer can benefit from these lessons. The beauty of Astronomy is the EVERYONE has a lot to learn & each lesson contributes to your knowledge. There is ALWAYS AN OPPORTUNITY to ask questions to get clarification. If you have a question it is almost certain that someone else has that same question. What you learn each night may be interesting to awe-inspiring. Most of the time we end our lessons in absolute wonder and amazement.

Join us for a monthly scrapbooking day at the Senior Center Dining room. Scrapbookers and crafters join to finish projects, share ideas and have a great time the 2nd Saturday of each month!
The Pagosa Springs Scrapbooking Club holds monthly meetings the second Saturday of each month at the Pagosa Senior Center. This creative tradition has been happening since 2005, started by Melissa Bailey and continued by Kathy Ruth through the years. They will meet each month from 10:00am – 3:00pm to be creative, share ideas, connect with friends, learn new techniques, share supplies and indulge in a potluck lunch together.
Bring your scrapbooking projects – or any crafting project that you may want to work on with the group! If you would like to be added to the mailing list, please send your request to copenhavercreative@gmail.com and you will receive notification each month of the upcoming meeting along with hand tips & tricks for scrapbooking.
