This extended workshop is designed for those who are ready to slow down and truly understand the foundations of watercolor. Together, we’ll move beyond simply following steps and begin building the skills that allow you to paint with intention, freedom, and confidence.
You’ll learn how to see florals and botanicals differently—breaking them down into simple shapes, understanding how watercolor behaves, and gaining control over your brush, color theory, and composition.
Whether you’ve taken a previous class or are simply ready to grow, this experience will give you the tools to continue painting long after the workshop ends.
What You’ll Learn:
- Foundational watercolor techniques (water control, layering, brushwork)
- Color mixing and simple color theory for natural, cohesive palettes
- How to sketch and simplify florals and botanicals
- An introduction to line & wash techniques
- How to create depth, movement, and softness in your paintings
