Presented by the same ThingamaWHO program that brought you BEETLEJUICE Jr last October,  THE ADDAMS FAMILY MUSICAL is a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and a dilemma that’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family—a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before—keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

There are two opportunities for trick-or-treating in Pagosa Springs this year—on different dates:

Saturday, October 24 | Noon–2 PM

The Town of Pagosa Springs Parks and Recreation Department will host trick-or-treating at Yamaguchi Park.

Saturday, October 31 | 3–6 PM

Join Main Street Pagosa Springs for Trick-or-Treat on Main Street, in cooperation with Tennyson Sculpture Park. Bring your little ghosts and goblins to our historic downtown businesses, then head to the park’s Halloween Party to continue the fun!

The Halloween Hootenanny, hosted by Visit Pagosa Springs in recent years, will not take place this year.

Help us spread the word so families can plan their Halloween fun. We can’t wait to see Main Street full of costumes, candy, and community spirit!

The Pagosa Turkey Trot is a 5k Walk/Run starting at Yamaguchi Park at 10:00 am on November 26th.

Come run and burn off some calories before you head to your Thanksgiving feast.

This is a fun event for all fitness levels.  Whether you are a competitive runner, a beginner, or just want something fun to do with the family before you eat, this is a great event for you.

ENTRY FEES: 

$25 Online Registration – Closes Wednesday Nov. 26th 8pm.

$30 Day Of Registration – CASH OR CHECK ONLY.

This is a fun run/ so it will not be a timed event. It is a self-timed event.

PACKET PICKUP: Packet pickup is on the morning of the race. The race starts at 10:00 sharp. Please arrive no later than 9:30 to check in.

PARKING: Ample parking is available for free. We ask that you park at the High School.

The first 100 registrants will receive a commemorative Turkey Trot souvenir.  It will not be a T-shirt.

Our local nonprofits show up for us every day, now it’s our turn to show up for them!

Everyone has a cause they believe in, and Southwest Colorado Gives Day makes it easier than ever to support the local nonprofits doing incredible work in your community.

You can easily find your neighborhood nonprofits to support in Archuleta, Dolores, La Plata, Montezuma and San Juan County on swcogives.org.

This is also a great way to learn about the nonprofits working in your community that you may not be aware of!

Wolf Creek’s Ms. Mondays Ski & Snowboard Clinic Series is just for the ladies! Ms. Mondays are a packaged deal with a discounted lift ticket and a two-hour morning lesson – $122 for adults/$104 for seniors. Ladies with ability C and above will have an excellent, qualified female instructor for the morning lesson.

Skier ability level C – Can wedge turn on green terrain.
Snowboard ability level C – Can heel and toe slide on green terrain.
