Bands, Brews & Barrels is the ultimate Saturday celebration of Colorfest 2026—where live music, craft beverages, and community come together in one unforgettable evening. Enjoy performances from great bands while sampling a wide variety of beers and spirits from talented brewers and distillers, all competing for your vote in the People’s Choice awards.
With your complimentary tasting glass in hand, explore the best of the region’s craft scene, discover new favorites, and connect with friends old and new. The energy is high, the flavors are bold, and the atmosphere is pure Pagosa. Whether you’re here for the music, the brews, or the barrels, this is the can’t-miss event of the weekend.
After the balloon glow at dusk there will be a 500 drone show in the sky!!!

Gates open at 12pm, Tasting starts at 12:30pm.

Green chile tasting trays are $15. Salsa tasting is sold separately inside the event. Margarita tasting tickets are sold separately inside the event, with pricing based on the number of tickets purchased.

The Mountain Chile Cha Cha returns Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Yamaguchi Park in Pagosa Springs. This 20-year celebration brings together the Patty Aragon Green Chile Classic, commercial salsa competition, margarita contest, beer garden, live Latin music, vendors, kids fun, and on-site green chile roasting.
Event Admission: $10 at the gate. Kids 12 and under are free.
Event Tastings: Green chile tasting trays, salsa tasting, and margarita tasting tickets are sold separately once you are inside the event. There are no pre-sales for tastings, and they can sell out, so please arrive early.
Schedule: Gates open at 12:00 PM. Tastings begin at 12:30 PM. Live music runs 12:30-5:00 PM.
Some proceeds benefit the Patty Aragon Memorial Scholarship Fund.
