At the present time i would like to focus on West Coast Coast Swing and Country Western Two Step. We have the capability of instructing in a variety of additional dances based on the desire of the class attendees.
Although it is always good to ahve a partner, it is not a requirement in my classes as we practice rotation so everyone gets a chance to dance.

Lickety-Split Comedy is back December 5th with a Cabaret-Style Comedy Mashup!
Get ready, Pagosa! First Fridays with Lickety-Split are back on December 5th, and this time, they’re shaking things up with an all-new format!
Founders Scott and Karisa are leading the charge in this one-of-a-kind cabaret-style comedy show, featuring powerhouse musical performances and on-the-spot improv and even some new improvisors!
The show features guest stars from Thingamajig Theatre’s summer season and current production of Masterclass — the brilliant Sam Luck, Trevor Brown, and Ellie O’Hara – bringing their talents to the fore! In the first half of the show, the audience will be treated to improv with our guest performers stepping up to join the fun.
After intermission, Sam, Trevor, and Ellie will be singing dynamic songs accompanied by the incomparable Dale Scrivener on the piano. In true Lickety-Split fashion, there’s a twist: Scott and Karisa won’t know what songs are coming — but they will be using each one to inspire totally improvised comedic scenes between the musical numbers.
Between each song, Scott and Karisa jump in with fast-paced, off-the-cuff two-person scenes that riff on the music and keep the laughs coming.
This fall run is generously sponsored by Vicki Liszewski, Realtor with RE/MAX Eagle’s Nest, whose support is helping Lickety-Split experiment with bold, new formats — and you’re invited to be part of the magic.
Don’t miss this unique blend of music and comedy!
Tickets: $10 online in advance, or $15 at the door

Birthing a fire is a simple matter on a clear evening, paper and lighter in hand; however when the wind is howling, the snow is thick, fingers are numb, and your tinder is wet… There is a craft to bringing flame into existence, we could spend weeks looking into the nuances of various fuels, fire by friction, breaking down (or building up) the stages, increasing efficiency, and so on. No two fires are the same, and no two people will go about preparing for and creating it in the same manner. However the FEELING we get seeing the first fragile flame and the urge to help it grow is pretty universal. So come dip your toe into the fire as we talk about what works and why and practice lighting various tinders using ferro rods and playing with the bow and drill friction method. See you there!
