Join us for hands-on creativity and fun at Clay Club! Our after-school sessions give students the chance to explore clay, learn new techniques, and make their own amazing creations. 

Sessions run 3:45PM–5:00 PM, pick up is 5:15-5:30pm, and all materials are included. Let’s get messy, creative, and make something unforgettable!

Transportation & Pick-Up: – If attending the public Middle School, PCI will transport your students from the Middle school to the Studios. – If attending another school/program, please drop your student off at 4pm, to the Studios, 550 B Hot Springs Blvd.- Parents would ideally pick up their child between 5:15pm and 5:30pm unless communicated for an earlier time to properly plan for project completion and clean up of space, unless they are approved to walk home on their own. Please expect to wait up to 10 minutes for your student to clean up. If they fail to clean up their space, they may risk not being able to participate in next session.If you would like to sign a permission slip for walking home, please reach out to youth@pagosacommunityinitiative.org with your students name and the request. We will send it through Brightwheel with the other paperwork.

The PCI Pirate Running Club has been having a blast getting some fresh air and burning off some energy after school!

We meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays to run, laugh, and have fun with friends — the perfect way to end the school day. We even have snacks afterwards too!

Open to all PSES students and is free to join!

Calling all Trainers in grades 5–8! Whether you’re a seasoned battler, a card collector, or just love talking all things Pokémon, this club is for you. Trade, play, learn new strategies, and connect with fellow fans in a fun, friendly environment. Catch you there!

Are you ready to spread kindness and make a difference? In this club, we go on a quest to bring more smiles to our school and community through fun projects, service activities, and teamwork. Come be a kindness hero — every act of good makes our world a little brighter!

Who: 5th- 8th grade students

When: Fridays- 1:45/2pm to 4pm- Starting February 6th and running through May 22nd, 2026.

Where: Meet @ Pagosa Springs Middle school, bus to locations around town for acts of kindness, primarily to start with The Beehive Retirement home and another location on alternating Fridays. Locations will increase/alternate with notice ahead!

Pick-Up: Parents must pick up their child at 4:00 PM at the location of the day. We will provide a tentative schedule to help with this.

A Dance class for kids! Come learn moves to your favorites songs. Hosted by Ms. Jamie. A celebration of rhythm, movement, and joy.

For Ages 7-9. Fridays in February from 4:30-5:30 PM.

Little movers explore how their bodies can jump, wiggle, stretch, spin, and glide through playful props and music. 

Each session blends simple structure with lots of freedom, building coordination, balance, rhythm, and spatial awareness.

Children practice important early skills like listening, taking turns, following directions, and expressing big feelings through movement, all in a warm, supportive environment where curiosity is celebrated and perfection is never the goal.

Perfect for preschoolers ready to move independently, Creative Movement nurtures confidence, imagination, and a lifelong love of dance—one playful step at a time.

Basic Ballet is a foundational class designed for dancers ages 7–9 who are ready to build strong technique in a fun, encouraging environment. Students are introduced to classical ballet fundamentals including posture, turnout, alignment, basic barre and center work, and essential ballet vocabulary.

Through structured exercises, creative movement, and across-the-floor combinations, dancers develop strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and musicality. Emphasis is placed on focus, listening skills, and confidence while encouraging self-expression and a love for movement.

This class provides a solid technical base for young dancers while keeping ballet engaging, age-appropriate, and inspiring—perfect for beginners or students continuing their early ballet training.

Bonding • Balance • Big Feelings & Little Moves

Mommy & Me at Uptown Dance Collective is a joyful first movement class for children from newborns to toddlers and their grown-up. 

Through music, songs, props, and playful dance games, little ones build coordination, rhythm, and body awareness—while staying close to a trusted adult.

Caregivers move right alongside their child as we wiggle, stomp, twirl, and freeze, creating a safe, welcoming first classroom experience. There’s no pressure to perform—just connection, confidence, and fun.

Perfect for toddlers not quite ready to dance solo, Mommy & Me celebrates every stage: shy, curious, wiggly, or wild. Come as you are and enjoy a sweet weekly ritual of movement and togetherness.

Film Club is for high school students who want to tell stories through film. Work as a team to plan, shoot, and edit a short movie while learning real-world filmmaking skills—on camera and behind the scenes.
