On Tuesday evening, Higher Grounds Coffee transforms into a vibrant outdoor marketplace, welcoming locals and visitors alike to enjoy a rotating lineup of local artisans, fresh produce, handcrafted goods, live music, and seasonal food and drink specials.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to relax in the grassy areas around Higher Grounds Coffee, making it the perfect spot to unwind, connect with friends, and enjoy the summer evening. 4-8pm. Live Music 5-7pm.

Enjoy a great documentary time lapse movie all about mushrooms; Fantastic Fungi – The Magic Beneath Us plays on Thursday, September 18 at 7pm. Come try some delicious mushroom bites by crEATe, enjoy an amazing documentary and stay for a Q&A on mushroom cultivation by Aaron from Tooth and Gill. Doors open at 6pm.

Join Rise Above Violence for our annual Runway for Rise Recycled Fashion Gala. October 4th from 6-9pm. This FUN-raising event is sure to wow you with some frugal but fabulous outfits as teams compete to raise funds and create an amazing runway ensemble out of soda can tabs, wine corks, an element from nature, and recycled and repurposed thrifted items. Support your favorite teams by voting for them online or the night of.
