Are you ready to spread kindness and make a difference? In this club, we go on a quest to bring more smiles to our school and community through fun projects, service activities, and teamwork. Come be a kindness hero — every act of good makes our world a little brighter!

Who: 5th- 8th grade students

When: Fridays- 1:45/2pm to 4pm- Starting February 6th and running through May 22nd, 2026.

Where: Meet @ Pagosa Springs Middle school, bus to locations around town for acts of kindness, primarily to start with The Beehive Retirement home and another location on alternating Fridays. Locations will increase/alternate with notice ahead!

Pick-Up: Parents must pick up their child at 4:00 PM at the location of the day. We will provide a tentative schedule to help with this.

Pop Dance Party Series with Ms. Jamie

This high-energy kids dance class is all about the moves they love right now. Drawing inspiration from popular kids dance videos and trending choreography, dancers will learn fun, age-appropriate routines set to clean, upbeat music everyone recognizes.

Classes focus on confidence, coordination, rhythm, and teamwork—without pressure or competition. Dancers get to explore big movement, expressive style, and performance skills in a positive, supportive environment where everyone belongs. Expect lots of smiles, movement games, and that “I can do this!” feeling each week.

Perfect for kids who love to move, copy cool dances, and be part of something fun—no prior dance experience needed.

Mommy & Me at Uptown Dance Collective is a joyful first movement class for children from newborns to toddlers and their grown-up. 

Through music, songs, props, and playful dance games, little ones build coordination, rhythm, and body awareness—while staying close to a trusted adult.

Caregivers move right alongside their child as we wiggle, stomp, twirl, and freeze, creating a safe, welcoming first classroom experience. There’s no pressure to perform—just connection, confidence, and fun.

Perfect for toddlers not quite ready to dance solo, Mommy & Me celebrates every stage: shy, curious, wiggly, or wild. Come as you are and enjoy a sweet weekly ritual of movement and togetherness.

Film Club is for high school students who want to tell stories through film. Work as a team to plan, shoot, and edit a short movie while learning real-world filmmaking skills—on camera and behind the scenes.

Our Adult K-Pop Dance Workshop is your chance to step out of the audience and onto the stage. Think dramatic hair flips, synchronized power moves, and that “did we just debut?” energy. We’ll warm up like pros, break down a routine piece-by-piece, and then turn the lights down low so you can perform like you’re closing out the GRAMMY Awards.

 No experience? Perfect. We love a surprise breakout star.

You’ll sweat, you’ll slay, you’ll probably scream a little — and by the end, the urge to start a fan club may occur.

Pick-Up:
Parents must pick up their child by 5:00 PM from Pagosa Springs Elementary School.

Communication & Paperwork:
All families will need to download the Brightwheel app for forms and communication. Please complete all paperwork before your child’s first day.

Lights. Camera. Create.
Film Club is for high school students who want to tell stories through film. Work as a team to plan, shoot, and edit a short movie while learning real-world filmmaking skills—on camera and behind the scenes.

Who: 9th- 12th grade students

When: Starting February 3rd and running through April 28th, 2026.

Where: Pagosa Springs Highschool Art Room- Mrs. Lewis’ art classroom

Give your child the extra boost they deserve! The Pagosa Community Initiative offers a fun and supportive tutoring program that helps students grow in reading and math while building confidence, comprehension, and a love for learning.

Who: K–4th Grade Students

Calling all 4th–8th graders who love storytelling, creativity, and epic quests! Our Dungeons & Dragons Club is the perfect place for students to work together, use their imaginations, and solve problems — all while having fun. No experience is needed; we’ll teach the basics and guide everyone through exciting adventures.

Who: 4th-8th Grade Students

When: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM- Starting October 14th and running through May 21st, 2026.

Where: The Studios by PCI, 550 B Hot Springs Blvd, Pagosa Springs CO 8114

Transportation & Pick-Up: – If attending the public Middle School, PCI will transport your students from the Middle school to the Studios. – If attending another school/program, please drop your student off at 4pm, to the Studios, 550 B Hot Springs Blvd.- Parents must pick up their child no later than 5:00pm from the Studios (location above), unless they are approved to walk home on their own. If you would like to sign a permission slip for walking home, please reach out to youth@pagosacommunityinitiative.org with your students name and the request. We will send it through Brightwheel with the other paperwork.
